Working part-time at Harmony House HealthCare Center as the Ward Secretary, he also completed a Nurses AssistantCertified (NAC) Program and passed the Washington state NAC exam.  Sausedo returned to the hospital full-time to work as a NAC and the front desk.  In 2006, he was invited to work in the Surgery department full-time.  His job as Lead Surgical Tech includes inventory for the operating room, setting up for surgery, and assisting in surgery.  Sausedo, raised in Bridgeport, is married with three children and lives in Brewster.  He likes sports-- especially basketball -- and enjoys fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Staff members have the opportunity every month to nominate an Employee of the Monthwith an employee of the year chosen in December.  Lynda Wagoner, Emergency Department RN, nominated Sausedo, stating:  “Saul is always ready and willing to do whatever he is called upon to do.  In response to a Trauma Code recently, as part of the rapid response team for life saving measures, he was called to the Emergency Department and did an awesome job.”

When asked why he likes working at Three Rivers Hospital, Sausedo said: “I really like the great staff interaction and have always been made to feel welcome in the Surgery department.  My job is a worthwhile occupation because I am able to help people.”
