ROB
WYLIE
Three Rivers Hospital
Employee
of
the Month
for
MAY
2012
Wylie began his career at Three Rivers Hospital five and half years
ago, with a job description that said, “All things deemed necessary.” With a background in bio-med, Rob builds and
services autoclaves and sterilizers, and works in the Maintenance
department. Married with a two year old
daughter, Wylie and his family live in Riverside.
Staff members have the opportunity every month to nominate an
“Employee of the Month” with an “Employee of the Year” chosen in
December. To show appreciation to the person who initially submits the winning nomination, the Employee Recognition Committee offers a $10 gift certificate for a local business. This month, Wanda
Celeone in the business office was the first person who nominated Rob for
“Employee of the Month” in May and she won a $10 gift certificate to Sweet River Bakery in Pateros when Rob was chosen. Nomination comments from several employees include
- Rob is always so helpful, nice and he’s a go-getter.
- Rob is always pleasant, willing to help where needed, upbeat and friendly. He keeps the air conditioner and heat going in our offices.
- If you need something fixed, you know you can count on Rob to get the job done, right now. He also has a great attitude.
- Rob always has a smile on his face and a positive outlook no matter the task. He is dedicated to Three Rivers Hospital and his fellow workers.
- He is an asset to the hospital.
When asked why he came to Three Rivers Hospital, Wylie said, “It was a
good service-oriented job -- a way to contribute.” Asked what is best about his job, his comment
was, “It’s a good place to work. The people are friendly and it’s a necessary
job for the district. It’s not always a
glamorous job, but it’s a good job.”
Employees of the Month are awarded a vest with the Three Rivers
Hospital logo, a parking space for the month and their certificate hung on the
wall in the hospital’s lobby. Everyone
nominated throughout the year has the opportunity to become the “Employee of
the Year 2012”
If you visit Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster during the
next few weeks
and happen to see him keeping our facility in good working order,
please help us congratulate Rob!
