EHR Implementation Begins

This week begins a series of training sessions with CPSI, the Electronic Health Record (EHR) company for Okanogan Douglas District Hospital (ODDH).  Representatives from CPSI headquarters in Mobile, Alabama are on-site and working with hospital staff to initiate the first "Go Live" phase next week for Nursing Order Entry (NOE). NOE is the part of EHR data entry where the Nursing staff generates requests for procedures from other hospital departments like medications from Pharmacy, x-rays from Radiology or blood work from the Lab.

This week's activity will include installation of new computer hardware to the Nursing floor.
